DAY 1 :
Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi and check in to your preferred hotel
for an overnight stay.
Day 2 : A full
day tour of Old and New Delhi.
OLD DELHI - A
sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting
the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma
Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest
mosque in India and the Red Fort - once the most
opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire.
Enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride
from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk.
NEW DELHI - An
extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would
include a visit to the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub
Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath,
past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House,
the President's Residence, Lotus Temple and would
end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.
DAY 3 : DELHI
– MANADAWA (Approx. 265 Kms./ 06 Hrs.)
After breakfast
proceed by surface to Mandawa. Afternoon sightseeing
tour of the town, which lies in the heart of Shekhawati.
A painted arched gateway, adorned with Lord Krishna
and his cows, leads to the bazaar. You can wander
through the streets, where mansions of rich merchants
are adorned with elaborate frescoes.
Mandawa was founded in 1755
by Thakur Nawal Singh and is still the home of
his descendants. Mandawa houses a collection of
armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820,
ancient coins, numismatic collection and many
other interesting items preserved in a museum.
The whole area of Shekhavati has beautiful frescoes,
havelis & mansions and is called the open
air gallery. Overnight Mandawa.
Day 4 : Bikaner
(Approx. 175 Kms./04 Hrs.)
Buffet Breakfast
at hotel. Drive to Bikaner. Afternoon tour of
this desert city visiting Junargarh Fort, Har
Mandir, Lallgarh Palace, Phool Mahal and Camel
breeding Farm
Bikaner is bolstered by
imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing
old palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by
Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its
long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies
and aerial windows of varying designs. An enormous
arched doorway leads to the Joramal Temple. The
royal chapel is Har Mandir where royal weddings
and births were once celebrated. Overnight Bikaner.
DAY 5 : BIKANER – JAISALMER (Approx.
335 Kms./ 07 Hrs.)
After breakfast
proceed by surface to Jaisalmer. Evening visit
the Sand Dunes where you can take a camel ride
to view the sunset. The Rajasthani backdrop, the
sunset and the camel ride make the entire outing
an unforgettable experience. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 :Jaisalmer
Morning sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Visit the
Fort, bazzars and the old mansions known as "havelis".
People still live in these ancient buildings dating
from 12th to 15th century. Every house has exquisite
carvings and filigreed work. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 : Jodhpur
(Approx. 325 Kms./ 07 Hrs.)
After Breakfast drive to Jodhpur. Evening at leisure.
Overnight at Jaisalmer.
DAY 8 : JODHPUR
Morning visit the Meharangarh Fort, home of India’s
mot spectacular Fortress – Palace.
Jodhpur was founded in 1459 AD
by Rao Jodha, chief of Rajput clan of Rathore
rulers. While in the city also visit the Jaswant
Thada, a white marble cenotaph built to commemorate
acts of bravery and generosity of the rulers in
19th century. A trip to Jodhpur is incomplete
without visiting The Maid Bhawan Palace &
museum.
Day 9 :Udaipur
(Approx. 275 Kms./ 06 Hrs.)
After Breakfast drive to Udaipur
en route visiting Ranakpur Jain Temples.
Ranakpur - 98 kms from Udaipur,
the Jain Temples built in the 15th century are
situated in the lovely valley of the Aravali.
Its surrounding is quiet and picturesque. Ranakpur
has grand structures and beautiful sculpture.
There are 1444 pillars in the temple and none
of them are similar. The magic of light &
shade is really awe inspiring. Surya Temple and
other Jain Temples are side attractions. Continue
drive to Udaipur.
Day 10 : Udaipur
UDAIPUR –
The lake city of Udaipur is a cool oasis in the
heart of the colorful state of Rajasthan. Udaipur
is famous for its Lake Palace, a magnificent palace
now converted into a luxury hotel and the City
Palace, which is converted into a museum. The
beautiful Pichola Lake, Fateh Sagar lake and Jagdish
mandir, an Indo-Aryan temple, are amongst the
other places of interest. Udaipur is well-known
for its local crafts, particularly paintings in
the Rajput Mughal style. Excursions include Eklingi,
a small village known for its numerous temples;
Haldighati, a famous battle field, Nathdwara and
Ranakpur Temples.
Morning proceed for sightseeing
tour of Udaipur, stopping first at City Palace.
Here you will marvel atrooms with mirrored walls
and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid
marble balconies and the Peacock Courtyard.
Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari
– Exclusive garden of the royal ladies,
Jagdish Temple and the local folk Museum. Proceed
for an evening boat ride on the placid waters
of Lake Pichola. From the boat you will be able
to view the city of Udaipur as it rises majestically
above the lake in the middle of the Rajasthan
desert.
Day 11 : Udaipur – Jaipur
Fly on to the capital
city of colourful state of Rajasthan – Jaipur.
The origins of the beautiful
city of Jaipur can be traced back to the eighteenth
century, during the reign of Jai Singh II who
ascended the Amber throne in 1699. Jaipur today,
epitomizes the spirit of Rajputana. In-spite of
growing into a bustling metropolis, it still retains
its character and history - A beautiful fusion
of the yesteryears and modernity. Jaipur is popularly
known as the Pink City because of the extensive
use of the locally abundant pink plastered stone,
painted so in honor of the visit of the royal
consort of Queen Victoria. Jaipur thrills the
soul with its massive forts, magnificent palaces,
exquisite temples and lush gardens.
Morning excursion to Amber
Fort.
AMBER FORT PALACE
- Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort
palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh
I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai
Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner
paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and
Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression. Follow
an old tradition and ride up to Amber Fort on
an Elephant.
Continue sight-seeing to CITY
PALACE, JANTAR MANTAR HAWA MAHAL
Relax in the evening or visit
the markets – Jaipur is a treasure trove
for the shoppers and there is everything here
that the heart desires. As a major gems &
jewellery center, you can count on finding some
of India’s finest jewellery here. Besides
that, there are marble statues, woolen carpets,
cotton rugs, hand block printed Sanganeri and
Bagru cotton fabrics, brassware, leather footwear
and much more
DAY
12 : JAIPUR – AGRA
Leave for Agra by surface en route
visiting the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri - The deserted,
red Sandstone City, Emperor Akbar built that as
his capital and palace in the late 16th century
is an exhilarating experience. It a veritable
fairytale city and its "ruins" are in
pristine condition ... it's not hard to imagine
what the court life must have been like in the
days of it's grandeur. Also visit the Buland Darwaza,
the largest gateway in the world.
Continue drive to Agra.
AGRA -
Two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan,
transformed the little village of Agra into a
befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire
Today a visitor to Agra is caught
up in a world of contrasting edifices, of red
sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys and
quaint buggies, and that irresistible charm that
this favorite city of the Mughals still retains.
It is not surprising, that modern Agra still reflects
its Mughal heritage most conspicuously. A walk
down the narrow bustling streets of the city will
introduce the visitor to the wafting aroma of
Mughlai cuisine.

and get led through the multitude of chambers
in this regal residence. As you drive through
the city you will get to see some local colours
and bazaars. Evening at leisure.
Day 13
: AGRA
– DELHI
After a sunrise visit to discover the beauty of
Taj Mahal, leave for Delhi by surface and transfer
straight to the International airport or you may
extend your stay with us.
